The Heroic Tale of Hanuman Fetching the Dronagiri Mountain

During the incredibly ferocious and highly destructive battle on the blood-soaked plains of Lanka, Indrajit, the notoriously formidable and magically adept son of the demon king Ravana, unleashed a devastating, highly secret celestial weapon known as the Shakti Baan. Upon finally reaching the vast, sprawling Dronagiri mountain range, Hanuman unexpectedly faced a highly critical and confusing botanical problem. In the pitch dark of the rapidly passing night, the entire mountain slope was completely covered in countless, brightly glowing herbs, all of which looked incredibly similar to his untrained eyes. Being a highly skilled, seasoned warrior and a deeply read Vedic scholar, but decidedly not a trained botanist or physician, Hanuman simply could not safely distinguish the specific life-saving Sanjeevani herb from the thousands of other magical flora surrounding him. He fully understood the catastrophic consequences of failure; he knew that if he accidentally brought back the wrong herb and Lakshmana tragically died, Lord Rama's pure heart would completely break, and the entire war effort would be lost.

Faced with this agonizing dilemma and realizing he was dangerously running out of precious time before dawn, Hanuman made a swift, monumental, and entirely unprecedented decision. Channeling his absolute, boundless devotion to Lord Rama, he forcefully dug his powerful hands deep into the earth, completely uprooted the entire massive Dronagiri mountain with his bare hands, lifted it effortlessly above his head, and flew back toward Lanka with breathtaking, supersonic speed. When the physician Sushena and the entire army saw the mighty Hanuman descending from the clouds carrying the entire glowing mountain, they were absolutely astounded by his sheer power. Sushena quickly identified the correct herb, treated the wound, and brought Lakshmana back from the absolute brink of death. Carrying the mountain is forever celebrated as the ultimate testament to Hanuman’s incredible problem-solving ability, his sheer physical power, and his boundless devotion where he leaves zero room for failure.
