Prem Mandir ('Temple of Divine Love') is a modern architectural masterpiece spread across 54 acres on the outskirts of Vrindavan. Founded by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, this monument crafted entirely from pristine white Italian Carrara marble celebrates the eternal divine pastimes of Shri Radha Krishna and Sita Rama. Its manicured gardens, life-sized leela tableaux, and dazzling evening musical fountain draw millions of pilgrims each year.
History
Conceived by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, foundation stones were laid in January 2001. After 11 years of intricate hand-carving by more than 1,000 skilled Rajasthani artisans, the complex was inaugurated and opened to the public in February 2012.
Architecture
Constructed in refined Nagara architectural style utilizing 30,000 tons of flawless Italian Carrara marble. The ground floor enshrines Radha Krishna while the first floor houses Sita Rama, both surrounded by bas-reliefs illustrating Bhagavat purana pastimes.
Best time
October to March for comfortable outdoor strolls. Evenings are best throughout the year to view the dynamic architectural illumination.
Timings
Morning session: 05:30 AM to 12:00 PM; Evening session: 04:30 PM to 08:30 PM. Aarti takes place at 05:30 AM, 11:50 AM, 04:30 PM, and 08:00 PM.
Darshan
Footwear must be deposited at free shoe counters outside. Extensive walking is required through the landscaped perimeter; electric carts operate for mobility-impaired visitors.

Located directly on the Mathura-Vrindavan Chhatikara link road. Easily accessible via auto-rickshaws from Mathura Junction (12 km) or via Yamuna Expressway from Delhi (140 km).
